Terms of Service

TeleTee is an online platform designed to connect golfers with golf coaches for remote, asynchronous golf instruction. Through TeleTee, golfers may be able to select a coach, upload golf swing videos and information about their game, and receive personalized coaching materials. These materials may include video analysis, written feedback, swing markings, drills, practice instructions, and other instructional content. TeleTee provides the technology and marketplace through which these interactions occur.

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use TeleTee independently. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use TeleTee only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. You agree to provide accurate information when creating or maintaining an account and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account. You may not impersonate another person, create an account using information you are not authorized to use, or allow your account to be used in a manner that violates these Terms. TeleTee may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, coaches, TeleTee, or the integrity of the Platform.

Golf instruction available through TeleTee is provided by individual coaches. Coaches are responsible for the substance of their coaching advice, analysis, drills, recommendations, and other instructional materials. Unless otherwise expressly stated by TeleTee, coaches using the Platform are independent service providers and are not employees, agents, or representatives of TeleTee. TeleTee may establish eligibility requirements for coaches and may review credentials or other information submitted by coaches. However, users remain responsible for deciding whether a particular coach is appropriate for their needs.

Golf performance varies significantly between individuals. TeleTee and coaches cannot guarantee that a golfer will achieve a particular score, handicap, swing change, performance improvement, or other result from using the Services. Coaching materials are provided for educational and instructional purposes. Golfers remain responsible for how they practice and apply coaching recommendations.

Golfers may submit videos, descriptions, questions, goals, swing information, and other content through TeleTee (“Golfer Content”). You retain ownership of your original Golfer Content. By submitting Golfer Content, you grant TeleTee a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, transmit, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate and improve the Services and provide the requested coaching experience. For example, this permission allows TeleTee to make your submitted swing video available to the coach you select. Uploading a swing video to TeleTee does not transfer ownership of that video to TeleTee. You represent that you own your submitted content or otherwise have the legal right to upload and use it through TeleTee.

Coaches may create and provide videos, annotations, written comments, drills, practice instructions, and other instructional material (“Coach Content”). Coaches retain ownership of their original Coach Content except where otherwise agreed. By providing Coach Content through TeleTee, a coach grants TeleTee a non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, transmit, and deliver that content as reasonably necessary to provide the Services to golfers and operate the Platform. These permissions do not give TeleTee unrestricted ownership of a coach's original instructional materials.

TeleTee may offer paid lessons, subscriptions, marketplace transactions, coach plans, or other paid services. Prices, billing frequency, included services, applicable fees, cancellation terms, and other material purchase conditions will be presented to users before they complete a transaction. TeleTee may use third-party payment processors to process payments and payouts. Because TeleTee is currently in a pre-launch/testing stage, public pricing and final payment policies have not yet been announced. These Terms may be updated before paid services become generally available. Any applicable refund or cancellation policy will be disclosed to users in connection with the relevant paid service.

You may not use TeleTee to:

• violate applicable law or another person's rights;
• upload content you do not have permission to use;
• harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate another person;
• distribute malicious software or harmful files;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
• interfere with the operation or security of TeleTee;
• scrape, copy, or systematically extract Platform content without authorization;
• misuse another golfer's videos or another coach's instructional materials; or
• use TeleTee for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purposes.

TeleTee may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action.

Golf practice and physical activity involve inherent risks. Users are responsible for practicing in an appropriate environment, using equipment safely, and exercising reasonable judgment when following coaching recommendations. TeleTee does not provide medical advice. If you have concerns about whether a movement, exercise, drill, or physical activity is appropriate for you, you should seek advice from an appropriate qualified professional.

The TeleTee name, branding, logos, website, software, interface, design, platform functionality, and other materials created by or for TeleTee are owned by TeleTee or its applicable licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant users ownership of TeleTee's technology or intellectual property.

TeleTee's collection and use of personal information is governed by its Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy will explain the types of information TeleTee collects, why it is collected, how it may be used or shared, and the choices available to users.

TeleTee may rely on third-party providers for services such as website hosting, cloud storage, authentication, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing. Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to those providers' applicable terms and privacy policies. TeleTee is not responsible for third-party services outside of its reasonable control.

We may update, modify, add, or remove Platform features as TeleTee develops. We do not guarantee that TeleTee will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may temporarily restrict access when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, technical issues, legal compliance, or improvements to the Services.

You may stop using TeleTee at any time. TeleTee may suspend or terminate access when a user violates these Terms, creates a security or fraud risk, abuses another user or coach, violates applicable law, or otherwise uses the Platform in a manner that could reasonably harm TeleTee or others. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination—including intellectual-property, liability, and dispute-related provisions—will survive termination.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TeleTee and the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. TeleTee does not guarantee specific golf results, uninterrupted Platform availability, or that every coaching recommendation will be suitable for every golfer. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TeleTee will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the Services. TeleTee will not be responsible for losses caused solely by a user's misuse of the Platform, unauthorized use of an account resulting from a user's failure to safeguard credentials, or a user's decision to disregard reasonable safety precautions. Any limitation of liability will apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold TeleTee harmless from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit without the necessary rights or authorization.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that is not otherwise resolved between the parties will be handled in an appropriate court with jurisdiction in Texas, subject to any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived. We can make the specific county/venue more precise once TeleTee's formal business entity and principal business address are established.

TeleTee may update these Terms as the Platform, business model, or applicable legal requirements change. When changes are made, the updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. When appropriate, TeleTee may provide additional notice of material changes. Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
